Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 (8 oz) carton commercial sour cream
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (I use pecans)
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions:
Combine butter and sugar; cream until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and sour cream, mixing well.
Combine next five ingredients; add to butter, and mix well.
Pour batter unto a greased and floured 13x9 baking pan.
Combine brown sugar, nuts, and cinnamon, mix well, and sprinkle evenly
over batter.
Cover and chill overnight (I normally skip this step).
Uncover and bake in preheated 350º
oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake tests done (whatever that means
-- I generally bake closer to 35, to keep moist).
